The Stars That Usher Evening Rose

"Wan night, the shadow goer, came stepping in." -- Philip James Bailey

Last evening I went bowling with the BlogAsheville crew and had a good time. It was the first time I had bowled in atleast a year and a half. I was expecting to be pretty rusty and the first frame of my first game lead me to believe that I was. I guttered both balls on the first frame. Surprisingly though for the most part that was the only time I really struggled. I ended up finishing with a 158 that game which was the second highest of everyone for the night. About three frames into my second game my thumb started to go numb and once that happened I started losing the ability to direct the ball to where I wanted it to go so my score for the second game dropped to 110.

Starting either this coming week or the week of March 13th, I will begin doing the weather forecast for WPVM 103.5 here in Asheville on Monday evenings. The Atmospheric Sciences Department at UNCA is the one putting this together with 103.5. There are several of my other co-majors that are doing the other days. I wasn't sure if it was something I wanted to do at first but after I thought about it I decided to do it. I figured it could be fun and potentially would look good on a resume done the road sometime. So anyone here In Asheville who might read my blog start listening for us here in the near future.

I think I am starting to burnout. I haven't been doing as well in school as I was expecting to at this point. I am not giving any less effort than before. It is just that I am having a much harder time this semester staying on task with studying and staying alert in class. My mind seems to be wondering a lot more lately. Only thing I can think of is that mentally I am beginning to burnout. Hopefully that isn't the case because if it is this could be a long second half of the semester. Spring Break is just under a week away so hopefully that week away from school will help me out.
